The K&N Generation II Performance Kit 57-2529 Ford - USA for Explorer replaces the original air filter box of a Ford - USA Explorer 4.0i SOHC so by a specially designed intake manifold and an open K&N air filter with shielding to the engine compartment as possible and cool fresh air can be sucked. All necessary mounting materials and instructions for the Ford - USA Explorer 4.0i SOHC 2001 are provided with the K&N Generation II Performance Kit included.
By installing the K&N Generation II Performance Kit 57-2529 the power of a Ford - USA Explorer 4.0i SOHC will be increased and the fuel consumption can be reduced.
